Texas Weather

I know ya'll probably don't want to here about our weather in Texas but I'm gonna any way....It is raining Hallelujah!!! And I do believe it's getting cooler, well out of the 80's anyway, lol.  This will be the first year in a while that the kids will be able to wear their costumes and not sweat to death. I'm trying to stay more active and post more files on here.  My Mom has moved in with me and that has been an adjustment, but I do believe we are getting into the hang of it. (Living together) I will stop before I bore you to death and start making more files and hopefully make more pages in my scrapbook and a few cards.

Les Edward Parker 3 weeks old 08-29-2011

Look what I found....... This is my newest Grandson of four { Les Edward Parker}, yes thats right no girls yet! He was named after his late Grandfathers { Maternal and Paternal} Lester was maternal side as you can see posted everywhere on my blog, { think I loved him just a little} thats where Les came from and Paternal was Jeffs father I don't remember his first name....Oh well his middle name was Edward....And of course Parker from his dad. I will be posting a picture of them together. Just wanted to share to great news. He was 3 weeks old here.

Moving In

I have a new problem... I need some young blood...lol  Where is everybody when you need help.  I'm trying to move in to my new craft room but I can't seem to find any help moving my heavy desk into the new room. I have pig trailed back and fourth for days now trying to move a little at a time, but this waiting is killing, me so for the last two nights I stayed up until 4am one night and the other night about 2am, but it is cooler and I seem to have more energy for some reason. I stile need some help moving that heavy desk, no need to ask, guesss I have to get the wallet book out......
Anyway one of these days I'll get moved in. I should have just bought a bigger house!

New Craft Studio

This last picture is of the old room I'm moving out of. The two top pictures are the new room, I"m getting it done slowly.

I have been so busy lately. I have turned my garage in to a beautiful Studio just to do my crafts and sewing. I out grew my 15x10 bedroom. I had to put away my new sewing machine into the closet because of no space, my scrapbooking and cardmaking were more important. LOL.   I hired someone to close it in for me, but I've done the rest,  I think I've done pretty good. I repainted, One wall is White and the rest are a very light Pink. I stained the concrete and it looks pretty good, I was hoping for the best.   I bought peg board and painted it a very light green, to put all of my stickers and die cuts on, I didn't realize it until I started digging through my drawers that "I have a problem"It's called Scrapbooking. You know that show Hoarding, I think I might have a problem too. LOL Really though I covered a 4 x 8 foot sheet of peg board with all the stickers and die cuts. I didn't know I had that much, I thought I had a problem with paper buying, I have got ever color under the sun, sometimes I think I have more that Hobby Lobby, really because I don't sell my paper I hoard it. LOL....Well it not the best in the world, or fancy because I'm not a carpenter but It will be big enough for my friend and I to come and crop with me. I'm very proud of my room, I'll go take pictures for ya......

We had a wonderful time at our crop this past weekend. We stayed at Memory Lane Inn Scrapbooking retreat in Tyler Texas, it was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Oh did I mention that we

This time change has gotten me all messed up...I’ll get it sooner or later...LOL I bought me a new SUV it's an FORD EDGE and I love it, it's not a luxurious as my Lincoln but I still love it.  Oh by the way I've been working on some new svg files and I'll be posting them in a few days. My new Valentine Card Getting Froggy!

Just thought I would share the card I made, I named it Getting Froggy. But It says on the front { I Toadally} and on the inside it says{Love You} I thought It was cute. Now just finding someone of the opposite sex to give it too, or sell it I suppose.......

Then & Now

I know this is my scrapbook page, but I just have to share the good news.....I'm a little over the half way mark, to reaching my goal weight. For once in my life do I fell like I've accomplished something. Thank You Lord for you help...

Just Rattling on!!!

I know I should come here more often but I haven't been scrapbooking like I should be.  I wanted to start making cards but then again I want to learn how to make my own svg and send them to all my net working buddies, I swear I'm going to get started right now... I love theses blogs I go to, they are wonderful. And the groups I'm in like the scal group wonderful to be there.

Just another Saturday

Just another typical Saturday.  Done some scrapbooking this morning, then got ready and went to Lufkin, (it's the nearest larger town to me that has a Hobby Lobby).  I tell ya, I would be in deep trouble if that store was any closer. I can't go in there without spending 100. to 150. dollars everytime. It was a nice drive though.  I am remodeling my 2 car garage into my scrap room. I can't wait till it's finished. will post pictures as soon as I start, wish me good luck, I need it.

New year

Well everybody this is a New Year, so lets be positive and make this one a great year to remember.
Does anyone know what you have to do to get free things to give away on your blog, or do people buy them theirselves? Just was wanting to get my followers up, and offer them something in return. Maybe some free svg files' who knows. I'll try to get something going...
